Basal Cell Carcinoma

This is the most common cancer with over 1 million cases reported a year. Basal cell carcinomas present as pink pearly colored patches and bumps on the face, nose, ears, neck, arms and trunk. Although rare to spread to lymph glands, BCC may cause local destruction and deformity. Treatment consists of topical chemotherapy agents, local destruction, surgical excision, and radiation.
