At Belle Meade Medical, we seek to provide the best pediatric and adult dermatological care in the region and have special interests in acne, psoriasis, eczema, hair and nail diseases, and skin cancers, including melanoma, basal cell, and squamous cell carcinoma. Further, we provide consultations on improving your appearance through medical and cosmetic aesthetics including, but not limited to, Botox to reduce smile and frown creases, Juvederm and other filler products for fine lines and deeper wrinkles, chemical peels to remove age spots and sun damage, and PDT to treat pre-cancers/sun damage and to give you a fresh new look. These treatments may be coupled with laser procedures for skin rejuvenation, rosacea, spider veins, unwanted hair, and many other conditions.
In addition, we are proud to offer skin tightening with Sofwave™, a new FDA approved heated ultrasound device for use on brow, face, and neck. Currently we are one of only two clinics in the Jackson Metro area to provide this service.
Medical Screening
Skin Cancer
If you have a changing mole or skin lesion, especially if it’s asymmetric, has irregular borders, uneven color, a diameter greater than 5 mm, and it’s changing or growing (evolving), you should have a full body screening exam for skin cancers.
*Routine skin examinations/screenings are performed daily by all the dermatology providers.
